Rooted in the landscapes of Manipur, Tlawng translates the rhythm of the land into movement and proportion. The turanj—a stylised form of kwa, the betel leaf—travels across the flared panels, its organic form set against the precise geometry of the silhouette. The play of panels creates a sense of movement, echoing the fluidity of the region’s landscape, while Chikankari brings this dialogue between nature, structure and hand into quiet focus.
